How points work

The Rules

Each manager scores the combined output of their six nations. Three ways to earn: grind out group results, survive the knockouts, and โ€” the fun part โ€” cash in longshots.

Draft Bonus

Every knockout game a nation wins earns its manager a multiplier of (draft round โˆ’ 1) bonus points.

Round-1 favorites: 0 bonus. A Round-6 longshot: 5ร— per knockout win. This is where leagues are won.

A worked example

Say your Round-6 longshot wins both group games (one draw), then storms to the Quarter-finals before bowing out:

  • Group: 2 wins, 0 draws = 4 pts
  • Advance to QF: +10 pts
  • Draft Bonus: 2 KO wins ร— (6 โˆ’ 1) = +10 pts
  • Team total: 24 pts โ€” from a sixth-round flyer.

The fine print

  • Tiebreak: total goals scored by your nations.
  • Extra time: goals in extra time count toward Goals For; a penalty shootout decides who advanced, but shootout pens are not goals.
  • Only final scores: the board updates a few times a day as games finish โ€” never live, never wrong.
